Cabela’s Memories in the Field
Cabela’s Memories in the Field features hunting, fishing and outdoor adventures. This unique program is comprised of video sent in by you, the viewer. This show gives outdoorsmen and women the opportunity to tell their favorite stories with videos of their outdoor adventures. Whether these exciting videos capture you, your family or friends hunting, fishing, canoeing, kayaking or participating in any other outdoor sport, they’ll take them. Your videos just might be shown on The Outdoor Channel, putting you and your favorite outdoor memories in the national spotlight.
On target-It’s a great concept to get the viewers involved. I like the fact that anyone can submit video and have the chance to be on national TV.
Off target- Besides some of the footage being a little below par, I suggest that Cabela’s offer a fatter gift certificate based on the quality of footage you submit.
No kidding, All you get is a $100 gift certificate if they use your footage. At least send some Cabela gear on top of that.
I sent my footage in and never heard a word from them.
I think this sucks! this is not at all quality stuff and you are better putting video up on the web where at least you can have it seen the way you want.
There’s a big difference in the web and national TV right now. It will get seen either way but you’ll get it up faster using the web.
I have some pretty good video i`ve taken these past few years.I`ve videoed the first quadraplegic to kill a bull with a crossbow in the state of N.M. elk in 2006,& another quad. hunter killed a 6×6 bull with his teeth.It`s pretty special a lot of people think I should send this video in to someone,your the first to be contacted.If you have any input I would appreceat it.
