The camera has been discontinued. I have not used the DVC60 and I don’t know what camera will replace it. I just picked up a Sony HVR-V1U HD camera and the review will be up soon.

I beleive Panasonic discontinued this camera……..all the companies that have them listed re-direct you to the DVC60…..do you know what model will replace the DVC30?

I just thought I’d put “the hunter” because the kid above put “the great”. I used the DVC all last year and it worked great. I have now picked up an HD cam and I love it.

I suggest you get a UV filter for the lens, extra 8 hour battery, and a nice water-proof bag. THis should get you started.
